We were looking for a Peruvian restaurant and our friend invited us to this hole in the wall. It was well worth it. The service was great, the waiter kept checking in on us. The food was authentic and flavorful.
We had a wonderful dinner at Incas! Leonardo was so friendly and warm. He immediately started chatting with us, making us feel right at home. For dinner for two we ordered: - Yuca fries: yummy & even better with the huancaina - Pork tamale: one of my favorite dishes, very flavorful - Chicken empanada: delicious with a squeeze of lime - Leche con tigre: fish is fresh, only thing is we should have ordered extra plantain chips - Arroz con pollo: large piece of chicken with green rice and potatoes in huancaina, tastes so good all together We left STUFFED. I would absolutely order everything again because it was so good! Will definitely be back for more.
The BEEF HEARTS here are so good! I'll come back for those over and over. Tender and tasty! They're on a skewer and have an intense grill flavor to them from the perfect char. The second item I will come back here for is the purple corn drink, chi cha Morada. It's on the sweet side so you've been warned in case that's not your ideal drink. It's flavored with cinnamon, pineapple, green apple, and purple corn. Also ordered their fried calamari and a seafood soup here that are decent. Fried calamari was enough for 2-3 people to share. The time I came for the seafood soup it actually took a long time to come out and it is a big portion but also pretty pricey for a soup. This place isn't usually busy because it's outside the main Concord food scene area. It is in a plaza area with different stores so that's convenient if you want to do a little shopping after. The staff is nice but they're not that attentive.
The service was exceptional. I really wanted to Try their pollo a la brasa but they didn't have any. Causa was very delicious. Food have great flavor. Plates were big as well. You get what you pay for. I took a cau cau plate and ceviche de pescado to go for my husband and he said it was really good.
